RE: Vendite Marvel mese per mese
Da The Beat:
Citazione:The AVENGERS VS X-MEN crossover built towards its finale in September (though the actual final issue slipped to the next month). And – well, yes, that’s about it in terms of notable releases in September. Schedules don’t get much quieter than this, and with many of the titles also on their way to an imminent relaunch, the main points of interest on this month’s chart really involve seeing how recent launches are getting on.
The quiet schedule is most likely because Marvel are leaving their next wave of new launches for Marvel Now!, starting in October – though it also has the side effect of avoiding direct competition with DC’s Zero Month stunt.
Naturally enough, in these circumstances, DC had the largest share of the North American direct market in September by a comfortable margin, leading Marvel by 36% to 31% in dollar share, and 41% to 34% in units.

RE: Vendite Marvel mese per mese
Da The Beat:
Citazione:After September’s virtual hiatus, October saw Marvel emerge from crossover season and hit the ground running. AVENGERS VS X-MEN wraps up, while Marvel Now gets underway with the debut issues of UNCANNY AVENGERS and A PLUS X. On top of that, there’s AVX: CONSEQUENCES, the MARVEL NOW: POINT ONE one-shot, a new ongoing series with WOLVERINE: MAX, the “Minimum Carnage” crossover, and more.Given all that, it’s no surprise that Marvel had the biggest share of the North American direct market, leading DC by 40% to 34% in units and 35% to 32% in dollars.

RE: Vendite Marvel mese per mese
Da The Beat:
Citazione:While the Marvel Now! relaunch programme got under way in October, November saw it in full swing, with the first issue of ALL-NEW X-MEN, new creative teams (and new numbering) on HULK, IRON MAN, THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, X-MEN LEGACY, FANTASTIC FOUR and FF, and a new direction for JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY. With all the issue #1s supported by extensive promotion, the chart is turned upside down.
You won’t be surprised to hear that this gives Marvel the largest share of the North American direct market in November, leading DC by 40% to 33% in units and a rather closer 34% to 30% in dollars.

RE: Vendite Marvel mese per mese
Da The Beat:
Citazione:Marvel Now rolls on into February. This month’s major events are the relaunch of UNCANNY X-MEN, the “Point One” prologue issue for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, the return of NOVA with Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness, and a new take on SECRET AVENGERS. More generally, the first wave of relaunched titles have now been around long enough that we’re starting to get a sense of which ones are already settling down, and which ones aren’t.
Though DC had the top selling book of the month – JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA – Marvel still had the largest share of the North American direct market, leading DC by 38% to 33% in units and 35% to 29% in dollars.
(As always, bear in mind that the North American direct market is only one channel – the total audience for these stories will include digital sales, trade paperback sales, European sales, and so forth.)
