Magari poi le idee sono tutte di Johns, non lo so, però vengono gestite meglio da Tomasi.

Green Lantern #57-58-59-60
Prosegue l'avventura terrestre di Hal Jordan, e lo fa con ottime idee e bellissimi disegni.

Due importanti rivelazioni ci vengono fatte in questi numeri, ovvero un segreto dietro l'Indigo Tribe e l'identità dell'essere alla ricerca delle entità.
La prima rivelazione mi è piaciuta molto, anche se prima di un giudizio definitivo, vorrei qualche dettaglio in più.
Invece la seconda per ora non mi ha fatto impazzire, mi sembra una retcon un po' sciapa ma è solo un'impressione dato che alla fine del #60 viene mostrata solo l'identità, non tutta la sua storia.


Note:
- Larfleeze è sempre uno spasso, solo due vignette del #57 valgolo l'acquisto dell'albo: quando nel casinò pronuncia "viva Las Vegas" e nell'ultima quando dice "voglio essere una regina".
- ancora non riesco a capire se Johns farà tornare Carol e Hal insieme o meno, io continuo a sperare di no. - tanto per cambiare Hal chiama per nome proprio Flash, davanti alla quattordicenne (#59)...
- bella la citazione a The Time Machine di H. G. Wells.
- ma l'energia delle lanerne non derivava anche dalla tecnologia e non solo dalle entità? Almeno così si era capito dalle intenzioni di Carol con le Star Sapphire. Invece secondo il "cacciatore" di entità pare che attribuisca tutto alle entità (visto quello che dice ad Hal).

Green Lantern Emerald Wariors #1/7 - Last Will
L'universo lanterniano è troppo bello e vasto, così l'inizio di una terza serie non può che avermi fatto piacere, nonostante solitamente propenda per il minor numero di serie possibili. Poi se a scriverla è il bravissimo Tomasi, che a differenza di quel farabutto di Gleason non ha abbandonato le serie smeralde, tanto di guadagnato.

Serie stupenda che non ti lascia un attimo di respiro,

I disegni di Pasarin, che ricordavo solo come sostituto di Eaglesham su Justice Society of America, mi hanno fatto ricredere. Ricordo che all'anteprima del primo numero non ero rimasto molto entusiasta. Invece in questi primi sette numeri ha fatto un ottimo lavoro e ho imparato ad apprezzarlo veramente tanto. Ora mi piace proprio!

- "home to the Guardians--" ma è corretto quel to?
- da quand'è che una voce che esce da un costrutto dell'anello, è rossa?
- l'immagine copiaincollata (quella che appare nel display della videocamera) l'accetto perché è all'interno della stessa vignetta e dalla stessa identica prospettiva.
- mi chiedo come mai veenga chiamato Guy per l'emergenza, non c'è la Lanterna del settore?
- fantastico Guy in Harley Davidson!
- chissà se gli operai che lavorano su Oa faranno parte delle 7200 Lanterne o sono comuni civili.
- l'ennesimo soprannome divertente di Guy che stavolta chiama brother Warth, Babar.
- il ragazzino dice a Sodam: "once you changed our sun back to yellow, all our powers shut off like a light."
Ma che cazzo sta dicendo? Il sole giallo mica annulla i poteri, è il contrario.
- la spada infuocata di Zardor mi ricorda l'arma del protagonista del videogioco God of War.
- fa strano vedere degli alieni capaci di viaggiare nello spazio, usare ancora piccone, carrelli da miniera su ruote, o altri attrezzi antichi.

Della serie: "il rilancio è stato pianificato da tempo, state tranquilli"... ecco che all'improvviso cambiano gli autori di quasi tutte le uscite di Lanterna Verde di luglio e agosto! Così da lasciare evidentemente tempo ai team creativi "titolari" di realizzare le uscite post-Flashpoint di ottobre e novembre.

e pensa che in teoria adesso i comics shop questi albi potrebbero anche renderli, per cui pensa che possibile colpo economico per l'editore... ennesima cazzata per via di sto rilancio mal pianificato. ma farlo da gennaio pareva brutto?

Le storie che hanno cambiato anche lo sceneggiatore, molto probabilmente saranno riciclate nella nuova versione, così hanno già il materiale pronto

non penso, perchè gli sceneggiatori si scambieranno le collane e, per esempio, una storia come quella di GLC di bedard su soranik natu non avrebbe senso in "the new guardians", ecc
